Say I want to ship a piece electronics (value >100 CHF), that I have already imported, back to the US for repair. How do I get proof that it's already been imported so they don't try to hit me with a Zoll again?

Same question, but for a different item.... how do i send back to Spain a photograph that needs to be restored, without risking paying taxes again? I paid the corresponding taxes both in Spain and then when i imported it to Switzerland.

you should be able to get something from the company to whom you're sending the item to say it is being returned for repair (I believe)....
