Seems to be the right place to put this... I am based in Geneva and run a company which specializes in preparing and filing accounts and tax returns for UK, Irish, IOM etc registered companies.
Currently I provide this service mainly for various fidicuiaries mostly in Geneva,Zurich and Lugano.
I can also arrange creation and maintenance of companies in many jurisdictions.
Dont know if there are many working in fiduciaries over here but if I can help or you need any further information feel free to contact me.
Thanks

Hello all
Does anyone know of a good & not expensive accountant in the Adliswil /Thalwil / Langnau area ? Or am I best going to someone in Zurich ? Seen the other recommendations on this thread, but they are a bit too far away from me.
Cheers
Catherine

I needed some advice on how to do my UK tax return to ensure that I got the appropriate non-resident status. This guy did it over the phone in 30 minutes and was excellent: Adrian Mole, Partner, Tax

I recently used this small firm in the suburb north of Zurich, Watt.
Was very happy. Strong English and willingness to repeatedly sit down for 30min to discuss details, confirm understanding, answer questions.
200chf for standard Swiss tax preparation. +45chf for English summary documents for US IRS was helpful.
Ask for Damian or Evelyn.

I'd very much recommend the following guy as he's dealt with all my financial issues for years:
Ron Wuesten
Tectron AG
Gewerbepark
5506 Mägenwil www.tectron-finanzberatung.ch
Tel. 062 889 89 67
E-mail: r.wuesten(at)tectron-finanzberatung.ch
He'll pretty much meet you where you like especially within cantons Zurich and Aargau anyway. He doesn't watch the clock and will always charge a fair all-in fee. E.g. I've a fairly complex tax return which usually means we meet for 2-3 hours during the process and this is less than CHF 500. He speaks very good English as he spends some time in Oz each year talking part in surf lifesaving championships. Lastly, he works with many expats from all over so is well aware of what's best.

| | | Tax Advisor (Fiduciare) in Vevey/Montreux area
I just used this person and found him to be cheerful, efficient and reasonable cost. We had a couple of phone conversations, a one hour meeting in his office and then two document exchanges by mail before the final tax forms were produced electronically for my signature. He speaks excellent English. The only downside is that he has little knowledge of tax laws in other countries and specifically the USA where I must also file. But this is understandable and if you need global advice you probably will need to employ an international accounting firm and pay a fortune for the privilege. I paid him CHF 240.

He also has an office in Chexbres but that is temporarily closed for renovation.

Hello,
scanned this thread and others, but can't seem to find the info I need.
I am looking for a tax accountant in Geneva. I am operating as a sole trader with a B permit, with international clients and payments. Will be my first Swiss tax.
Can anyone recommend a good tax accountant in Geneva please?
(Or warn me against any baddies!)

Would anyone know of an inexpensive accountant in Basel? I've got a quote from one place, they charge 1200 CHF for the service, well, well outside of my budget.
Thanks |

If you just need Swiss taxes done I can recommend Denise Collin denise.collin@colfina.ch She is Swiss but english speaking. She is excellent and works from home she is located in Eiken but she will come to you also. Hope this helps.

Hello, we live near Berne and need an accountant to help us optimise tax for a rather busy financial year: employment in CH, modest income from small businesses in UK, selling a house in UK, letting a house in UK, buying property in CH. Can anyone suggest where we could find someone competent to advise on all these things? I have read through the posts in this thread, but cannot see any recommendations which tick all the boxes. Language is not an issue - English, German or French would be OK.
Grateful for any suggestions. Thank you.

I am semi-retired and more than that I virtually never take clients from the Internet. But I do deal (as tax lawyer) with UK, US, Canadian and Swiss (only because I happen to be Swiss) taxes and write on the stuff.
If someone wants to set up a thread for tax questions I may be able to help.
But it's hard to imagine anyone providing an affordable service for users of this forum. The most qualified accountants count on being paid by international employers on behalf of their expat workers. But estate planning is almost always outside of their remit, and especially for UK domiciliaries that can prove an expensive omission.
Try this case on for size (failure of an expensive accountant to appreciate the rules on nondoms): http://www.uniset.ca/other/cs3/2002STC84.html | | This user would like to thank andy02 for this useful post: | |

Thank you, andy02. Fascinating stuff, but out of my league. In fact the opportunities for optimising tax don't seem to be a great as I had hope, since it looks as though all our Swiss and UK affairs will be treated separately for tax (with the exception of the Swiss Vermögenssteuer, for which, if I understand it correctly, we will be liable on our tangible assets in UK).

I'd be grateful for any recommendations of English speaking tax advisers near Nyon. Nothing particularly complicated, but need advice on tax at source in Geneva whilst living in Vaud and related income tax complications.
