tax filing for spouse in another EU country

Hi,
I got married in 2014. Before got married, I am B permit holder (non-EU) citizen and have tax deducted from Source.
I live in Basel. My husband is working in another EU country but he is non EU citizen and has no resident permit in CH.
The question is: Whether I need to fill a income tax return for 2014? (my base salary is less than 120k,but with his salary combined, it will go to more than 120k).
As he has no income or resident status in CH, do I have to report the marriage to Tax authority and report his income as well?
If his income need to be taken into consideration to get my tax rate, when is the deadline to file such return for 2014?

Thanks!

Only residents have any CH tax liability.........

Re: tax filing for spouse in another EU country

IŽd ask the tax authorities (Steueramt) as I need to include my husbands income (hubby does not live in Switzerland) in my tax declaration but I also get a deductible for his salary.

Thanks for the reply. But the question is if I am deduct at the source, I guess I didn't get the chance to make the tax declaration, thus, no way to report the marriage?
For the deductible for his salary, does it mean 100% deductible for his salary, or a standard deductible amount fixed for every one?
Thanks.

Again, that is why you need to ask the tax authorities, whether you now need to do a tax declaration or not. CanŽt remember how much the deductible was.
And youŽd need to tell your HR people as the tax class is different for married persons. So in principle youŽd be paying an incorrect tax amount on the tax at source if you still pay the same amount now as before your got married.

True, but usually the total global income is taken into consideration to determine the tax rate. I'd check with the authorities.
