Does trading account maintenance cost, and if so, how much? What about closing the trading account? Do they charge for transfers, inbound or outbound?
No, no, no, no and no (respectively).

No fees at all if you trade in large enough amounts -- at least for defined trades where you want to buy or sell a specified amount (i.e. not speculative trading).

Gotta love the Aussies...... Maaaaaate.... My swiss husband nearly died when he found out he could bargain at Myers. Try that at Manor and they would call the police

So how much is a slightly better rate??? Just so they don't laugh at me!
Same as bargaining at Myers -- just ask if the dealer can do a little bit better for you. S/he will often give you 9 or 10 points more, e.g. 1.4089 instead of 1.4079. Not a big deal, but it pays an extra $50 off your mortgage when you transfer CHF 50,000.
