UBS credit card direct debit problem..?

I paid off the balance of my UBS credit card, via internet banking, on the 17th.

The monthly statement arrived yesterday, dated the 16th, saying the amount (that I already paid off) will be taken by direct debit on the 27th

As I paid it off the day after the statement was printed... will that have registered in the system, or will they still take it by DD? I can't afford to pay it twice. Will calling them help stop the DD?

Gaah

Well I would... but actually is my husband 's card account, so they won't speak to me and he's not able to call until later... and it's stressing me out

Is there anyway to pay Orange payment slips by credit card? If card in credit due to this could use it to pay the bills maybe!

Re: UBS credit card direct debit problem..?

It happened to me but not with a bank. I paid something on the 21st and on the 22nd an invoice arrived dated 16th saying i owned that much. I called them and they confirmed that they received the money and i would not be charged twice.

So dont stress about it but call them if you want to make sure
