Need help with Zurich tax return file

Hi friends,
I have left Switzerland in May 2015 after staying there for couple of years.
I have now received a notice which asks me to file tax for 2014 and 2015. I have the physical forms with me but I am in India now, so cant submit the physical forms.

My salary is more than 120K CHF per year and therefore I need to file tax. All tax were deducted at source through my employer. I have also received some amount back for AHV and BVG. But not sure why my employer does not do the tax bit. But anyway, I need to file tax now by myself.

1. Do I need to file tax through a tax consultant ? If yes, then need help with contact details of a good tax consultant in Zurich. How much do they charge generally?

2. Am wondering how a tax consultant will file on my behalf. I will not be able to send the physical signed form anyway. Will scanned version work?

3. Otherwise, I have the software, but all in German. I didnt find English version anywhere. Does anyone know if that is available?

4. Does filing return mean some tax claim back as well? I got my AHV and BVG contribution back...is there any other component that I am supposed to receive back?

Thank you all for being so helpful as always !!

Re: Need help with Zurich tax return file

One I've used in the past is Colfina - http://www.colfina.ch - and can recommend them. Not sure how costs are calculated: I guess it's based on time and complexity. I think I paid around 250 CHFs. Personally, I found that money well spent compared with trying to translate tax forms in German.

Drop them an email and I'm sure they can give you a reasonable cost estimate for your case.

It's a long shot, but it might just work.

The accountant would send you the completed forms (physically or pdf), then you sign and send them back.

The extra couple of weeks for this to take place in neither here nor there in the tax return time scales.
