The way the rates are fluctuating at the moment means it is a good idea to shop aroung if changing currency.

I saw rates of CHF1.21/£ and CHF1.278/£ in the same street today.

It seems that, after the major dip, the rate is settling around CHF1.3/£
I wonder if this will last long.

1.20 was clearly oversold, does not mean that it won't go lower, it will probably get stronger now the floor has been established.

I think that within 2 years; the exchange rate will be CH1.8 to £1GB
I see GB£ possibly becoming a strong currency when the Euro gets hit by countries leaving the Euro which is inevitable when Greece does not get bailed out which it will not. It all depends on the exposure the UK has to these EC countries.

Since the CHF was given a floor against the EUR, the GBP exchange rate is now 1.40.
