Taking Money Abroad

Does anyone know how much money you can take with you when you fly from switzerland to UK? Someone told me its CHF 10000, but I am not sure.

Re: Taking Money Abroad

Its 10000 euros or the equivalent in any other currency. You are probs better of taking it in Swiss francs since we have a 1000 Franc note which makes it a smaller bulk...

Watch you back for pickpocketers, theres no lack of them !!

He'll hit ten posts in a little while, and we can see what he wants to sell.

Seems that our nasty suspicious thoughts are wrong for once. Just a Newbie who knows more about financial matters than I do who didn't check the dates.

I personally have a more nasty suspicion. Said newbie continues to make "indirect advertisement" in every second post for the same friendly delivery guy and financial service...

Thanks for the clarification. Just to make you understand why people are wondering - we all did this wrong once or twice when we joined here - you answered a thread that was 18 months old. The OP probably did already get his money to the UK... so always check on the left side how old a post actually is...
