Does anyone have a list of possible tax deductions that one can include on their annual tax declaration "Steuererklärung" and the percentage that can be deducted from the total expense.

Example:

Deduction..........Percentage
----------.........-----------
Tier-3 Pension ...100%

Together with the tax forms, you get a booklet that describes all usual deductions. Many Cantons, certainly Zurich, have that on the Web.

Perhaps I should rephrase my question. Many apologies.

The Swiss tax declarations are in the official languages of the country. However, using the EF search function you could find some useful threads like this one:

Regardless of the language, it will be quite a short list. It will also depend on whether you are self employed or not, more scope for them.
