Hello,
I've been playing with the Credit Suisse & Comparis tax calculators to simulate what would happen to our taxes if my GF & I were to marry. The result isn't pretty, as we'd pay about CHF 10'000 more of taxes per year. (Just the two of us, no kids)
I understood that the law was changing regarding married couples taxes, for example
here it is stated that :
| Quote: | | |
| In terms of individuals, the penalty for married couples was largely removed, or at least considerably reduced, as of 1 January 2008 (discrimination against dual income married couples compared to cohabiting couples). | |

Are the calculators not yet updated to reflect this ? Or has the law not yet been changed ?
Any info on if and when this will change ?
