Getting a loan as a non-EU citizen with less than 3 years of residence

Does anybody know of any bank here in Switzerland that does not require you to be a resident of Switzerland for a minimum of 3 years in order to get a personal loan?

I am a non-EU who landed here in Switzerland half year ago and work as an IT engineer for an Fortune 500 company for a pretty high salary.

I am getting refused from banks for a fairly small amonut although all banks have judged that I am financially very capable of paying off that loan. Reason - they all require that you have been here in Switzerland for at least 3 years.

Regards,

Dejan Foro

Try this website, you will get a list of the posible credit companies.
http://www.comparis.ch/banken/privatkredit/default.aspx

Also, try to go to small banks like Raiffeisen, I'm not sure if they do consumer credits but they may be less restrictive.

Finally, if your credit is related to a purchase (car, computer, etc.), you may get a financing solution with the seller. Some time ago, even Interdiscount could arrange that for a TV.

I have tried all those listed on that list and got the same answer
That's why I was asking here if anybody knows other possible sources.

But thanks for trying anyway.

Dejan

GE are constantly offering me stuff, they write in Italian (how nice).

I'd rather have the job I've applied for with them though
