Hi, 2 questions which I haven't managed to find a clear answer for.

I'm an IT professional and going to be earning about 145K in Lausaane, I have found the tax calculator so know roughly what my tax will be, but what about social security deductions? a rough % figure would be great.

I will be moving long term to Switzerland, at least 5 years, but will keep my house in Finland, and my housing loan Can I offset the interest I pay on that loan against the tax I pay in Finland?

You will be paying roughly 7-8% of social deductions (that doesn't include your pension fund).

Since you will use your Swiss salary to pay your mortgage in Finland, you may be able to deduct the interest from your Taxable Income but maybe better to check with the Tax Office in Lausanne.

Where can I find information (in English) about how much tax I have to pay (deduction at source) in Lausanne?
