Tax declaration 2009

Hi, Can anybody help me?
I had to do 2 tax returns last year and I managed to sort out Taxme online.
They seem to have changed it this year and they didnt send me the normal paperwork to fill in. Anybody any clues. Also what date does this have to be returned.

Re: Tax declaration 2009

Time to call the Gemeinde and ask.

In CH-8305, we have to submit Tax Return by end-March.
But we use an Accountant who puts some kind of "mark" in the Computer so the Gemeinde know it's coming.
She sends us the completed Paperwork to review around early May time.

Re: Tax declaration 2009

if you have made a tax return before you will get the paperwork eventually. in the mean time play with your cantons tax software. it does most of the work for you!

end of march is the CH standard submission date. a first delay of 3-6 months is easy/automatic to obtain and most cantons have a website that you can request this. another 3-6 delay after that usually requires an explanation why you need the additional time. after that you are pretty much on a penalty of some sort + interest of the debt you owe.

Hi, thanks to you both for your replies, that helps me. i want to avoid using an accountant, my husband used 1 on his first tax return, and he completed it incorrectly and we ended up paying 3500 to much tax.
