I am due to leave Switzerland later this year and have been paying into a pension fund. Does anyone know how I can get this money back when I leave as Im not coming back.

As far as I know as long as you were born in EU country, you will not get your money back but they will be used to pay you your pension later.

what if youre not born in EU?

I have heard that if you continue to pay the AHV pension thing when u are overseas, at the base rate (say 300CHF/year) then when you retire (even if o/s) then you can tap into the standard pension you started when you lived here. Apparently its quite lucrative.... this is just what I heard.
