I have a question about quellensteuer I hope someone can help me. I already read many great posts on this topic but I need an advice on something.

I own a house in Spain, if I put this on tax form, will I have to pay "eigenmiete" tax?
Mortgae on house is less than 50% and rent is double interest paid. Better to stay quite on this?

If you don't declare and it later comes to light, then you'll have to pay interest and penalities on the tax due. But it isn't a criminal offence - just a civil one.

but if I do declare, will I have to pay eigenmiete? and will it be more than interest deduction?
