Just been to Migros where you can get cash back if you have a post office or Migros bank account.

I believe they call it 'bar bezug.'

OK, news to me, but I guess I was thinking about the UK style of cash-back, where you can use any debit card for cash back.

Yeah I didn't think you can with a EC debit card, at least I have not seen it and when I asked I was told no [this message is long enough]

Makes sense if you have a Migros account as there aren't many Migros banks around. I'd bet money, though, that you couldn't use a Migros card to get cash back at a COOP branch

Likewise, post accounts are a bit special. You can't, for example, pay with an EC card at a PO. You have to use a post card (or Visa ?) as I understand it.
