Received mine on February 23rd and it says needs to be filled before 30th April. Or you could ask for an extension (there is a form page for that)

Well it seems they recently started shipping them out, so it may take a while. If this is your first time in Kanton Zug it may take even more. I am pretty sure that last year (after my first year in canton zug) I received the forms sometime in June and was given a deadline in September. So it maybe depends on the case. All in all I find the cantonal authorities here not only efficient but also reasonable, so I wouldn't worry whether it arrives late or not.

It's my second year here. Yes , even I recvd it about the same time (June) last year, but I thought my was a special case as I had changed canton in mid-year, so was expecting it at around this time.

I used the services of FSM (Fachstelle Migration) in Zug. Very economical considering the insane prices of other tax consultants in Zug.

Check out their website

The form should arrive in the next few weeks and it says it is due within 60 days. B Permit holders on tax at source earning under chf 120k shouldn't get one.

Automatic extensions are given until September (with reason). I only submitted my 2008 one recently since we were waiting for a Lohnausweis.

Re: Tax Forms in Zug

I recommend that you use the free software provided by the tax authorities to do your tax declaration. If you live in 'normal' circumstances the tax declaration can easily be done by yourself.

Re: Tax Forms in Zug

Does anyone use a good tax accountant for US returns as well? Also, how can you get the tax software provided by the local authorities? Thanks!
