I read that Postfinance doesn't take personal checks. But is there a way to deposit cash into a basic private account - do they give you deposit slips or something? There is also an old post on here saying that the PostFinance won't open bank accounts to US citizens. Anyone know if this is still true? Thanks!!

go to the post with the money?And I just cashed a check that they deposited into it also.

PostFinance charges a fee when cheques are deposited into a PF account.

My partner is a US citizen and he opened a bank account with Post Finance...

Also, I know that he has deposited cash into his account with no fee --

Unsure about cheques tho . . .
