When I got here a couple of years ago, I took a 50% pay cut.
Now with the exchange rate it's about the same.

Same = Gross salary minus 'health insurance and rent and tax'.
I'm here for the lifestyle, not the tax benefits.

Ever noticed how dull the 'low tax boasters' from canton schwyz are...

We are a lot poorer since moving here, also this "Sunday of the Dead" annoys me a lot.

We can barely make ends meet here, and I am considering leaving actually.

Sorry to hear that.

We are just slightly better off, but we have managed to drop one salary as the wife no-longer works.

Our house back in Scotland has a renter, but if this was not the case, then we would be worse off.

Ha but now they are arguing that there is to many skilled workers....and noone can do the tradesman job anymore....
