Best bank for foreign students?

Hi. I live in Brunei and have a Malaysian passport. I will start my studies at Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in September. I was wondering what bank is most suitable for a foreign student?

Re: Best bank for foreign students?

only one that will accept you is la poste.

Cause your B permit will take ages and that is the only place you can go without one. They are really good though

Re: Best bank for foreign students?

I am foreign (though not a student) and am very happy with the PostFinance account. I see that they have a Student Set for young people aged 18-30 in education/training:
Quote:
All in one and free of charge: student account, PostFinance Card, e-finance, credit card. Make cashless payments worldwide and withdraw cash. And benefit from excellent interest rates.

Thanks. Just for simple everyday banking - using a credit card and atm. I was looking at UBS Campus - any suggestions?

Re: Best bank for foreign students?

they did not take you 2 years ago. Maybe they do now. You also do not get a CC but a debit card you can use all over Europe(to get money, Not to pay) I still use the poste one every day
