best bank for student in zurich area

Hello, I will spend next year studying in Winterthur and I will need to open a bank account. I just want it for daily use. A classmate who was there last year recomended me ZKB, but leaflets from the University recommend PostFinance for international students. What do you think is better? Also, my level of german is low now, do you know if I could communicate with the bank office workers in english? Thank you

I'd suggest PostFinance with their electronic / online option called E-finance. With very low monthly fees, it serves well as a transaction account.

Receiving / sending funds to / from abroad as well as locally is a breeze.

They have English as an option online and many staff I encounter in Zurich can converse in English.
