I am looking forward to clear the exam of SWX, and also start reading the material available in the website, Is anybody here who is already had this certificate or preparing for this exam,

Till now I see only see few sample papers in the website, just need help if some had experience with this exam, so could help me with tips to prepare for this exam And I am also looking for some material to read for module 4(Trading System Neutral).

don't they offer preparatory classes and those binders/files anymore? I took several modules of it a few years ago, and that's what helped me most (and yes, I passed, in case you're wondering). That and old-fashioned studying.

I still have the binders somewhere at work if that's any help.

Actaully I don't know about the preparing classes but I think if they had some classes it would be very expensive for me...

I just sent you a PM. The prep classes are supposed to be part of the deal when taking the exam, I thought.

if your company joined swx recently, then swx throw in a couple of few prepartory classes. otherwise you have to pay.

to be honest, all the information is on the swx website. in addition, the information for the binders is there also... there are a couple of files worth that you can print out, or of course you can simply read them online and save paper.

i am also studying for the exam right now.... have barely started and will take it in september.

may i ask in what capacity you require the exam...? i work as a derivatives trader myself.

I'm new to the forum but have already sapped much useful information from several threads - so thanks to everyone.

As many of you living in Zurich I work in banking. I am looking to do the SWX Trader Exam sometime this year.

Having contacted SWX I was told that they won't be running any more preparation seminars until further notice.
I have only seen a few sample questions on the website and would also like to get some help with preparation.
Does anyone perhaps have any old or sample papers and the binders/files from a preparatory course?
I would also appreciate any other preparation material you can recommend - other than the documents I have downloaded from the website.

I'm a bit old-fashioned in my study approach and prefer paper :-)
