Problems Transferring Money to the Post Bank

My company has been transferring my salary from the UK to by Post Finance Account here in CH using the IBAN number. It has been working well for 6 months, but in the last few months my company have tried to transfer the money 5 times from the UK, but it has just bounced back. All the bank details appear to be correct and I cannot appear to get to the bottom of it. Has anybody had similar experiences? OR are my company messing me around.

Re: Problems Transferring Money to the Post Bank

There is a Swiss IBAN calculator here

http://www.swissiban.com/

You could use it to validate the IBAN.

Or call the PostFinance to double-check it.

Off topic - looking at your avatar - are you a pilot?

Re: Problems Transferring Money to the Post Bank

IBAN appears to be ok. One time they did spell my name wrong, but other than that I have been told that they transferred the funds on 5 occasions and it has bounced. I have rechecked the IBAN Number and that all appears to have worked out correct.

Bloaybear - How long does the money take to come into CH - My experience is two days. The guy who used to transfer the funds was taken ill and the more I think about it the more I am getting suspicious on the company!!

Yes, 2 days. I use the IBAN number as it appears on the monthly Post Finance statement. I transfer via American Express International Payments in Swiss francs. They give a good exchange rate and only charge £10 per transfer compared with £35 my bank would charge.

Ask them to give you a copy of the bounce, under the excuse it will help Postfinance trace where it goes wrong.

If they refuse, you know why...
