Wrong Zahlungsbefehl = bad record?

My former insurance company sent Zahlungsbefehl to my Kreisburo by mistake, because I have dissolved the contract. I contacted the company. They admitted this was sent by mistake.

My question is: will I have a bad record about my credit? How can I resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Wrong Zahlungsbefehl = bad record?

3 years ago I was incorrectly served a payment order by Winterthur Insurance. I complained and after three E-Mails and a copy of my divorce papers, they agreed to remove it. I now have a clean public record again.

However I have recently read that the record of the payment order remains on file and can be seen by the office, but not by the public.

So you must insist that they contact the Kreisbüro and remove the order. If not you can appeal to a Judge, it costs a bit, but I assume you would get this advance fee back when you are successful.
