I remember there was a nice guide around how to fill in the tax declaration by yourself using the Private Tax software. I cant find the thread anymore ... can anyone provide the link or indicate where is a newer guide version?

I finally decided to do this by myself ...

Questions on Private Tax 2009:

- During 2009 I had two employers on top of the Arbeitlose for two months (I have the tax income report thingie from all of them ...) how can you enter them one by one? does the arbeitlose one falls into a special category? if so which?

- I paid the 3rd pillar ... I can enter the value of 6566 on the left part but the other two columns I can not find how to edit and be able to enter the same value ... the input fields are like read-only ... what shall I do there?

If you click on the little (green?) square nex to the field you open a little table where you can fill in each position, private tax will generat the sum for you.
