Pensions question

Not convinced that this is the right section, but no doubt if it is not, the mods will move it to a more suitable section.
Can anyone tell me please whether the small [very small] amount of pension received from the Swiss Government is either index-linked, or likely to be increased in the future? Was awarded a monthly amount in April last year but since then it has not gone up. Is this, then, the full figure for the foreseeable future, without any increase? Thanks for all knowledgeable answers.

It goes up every year; at least mine does. It is so small I never checked the basis for the calculation.

Re: Pensions question

Many thanks for your response. However, it has now been 18 months without even a tiny, miniscule increase. Would this perhaps be because we live in Uusland although I really don't see what difference this should make]? TIA

The Official statement "1st pillar: Adjusted every 2 years in the light of wage and price increases, but adjusted earlier if the price index has increased by more than 4% in one year."

So probably my pension did not go up every years as I wrote; as I said it is small so changes do not really register in my mind
