Rye flour

Is there any "normal" shop here selling rye flour or should I stop looking? LeShop and Coop@home don't sell it and the Coop I went to today also had none.

Re: Rye flour

I did the same search a few weeks ago. I got organic (bio) rye flour from Coop (their own brand). It is called Roggenschrotmehl. It is wholemeal rye and makes great bread - I use it to make multigrain focaccia.

I've seen that and I think I will try it, if I can't find a non-wholemeal version.

Re: Rye flour

I think I have seen Roggenmehl at a Reformhaus. Or perhaps Globus.

I guess that "normal" implied also normal prices. At a Reformhaus, rye flour will probably 10 Fr. per kilo, a normal price would be 2 Franks (Swissness surcharge included). Another idea would be to kindly ask a baker if he would sell you a 10 kilo bag.

Normal prices would be nice too, but since I'm not going to use that much every year, I was more implying being able to get it close to where I'd do the rest of my grocery shopping. I don't feel like going in to the city because they might have rye flour at Reformhaus or Globus.

Re: Rye flour

I have bought it in either Lidl or Coop (forgot which one).
So not really hard to find.
