I in the afternoon of 26th had an excellent Fondue at the home of my sister-in-law in Oberbipp (Solothurnese Prairies). An excellent meal and nice company

Denner's just baked walnut bread with cream cheese and cucumber slices. Heaven. How can something so cheap be so good.

Tacos.

Made up 30 blue-corn tortillas over my lunch break, plus some beef filling.

Those, plus all the trimmings.

oooh, sounds good! We are having tacos, too - and I need to get a move on if I want to get my flour tortillas made. although I don't think they need too long.

will need to look up blue corn tortillas...

Re: Tonight's dinner?

For flour tortillas, I use my bread machine to make the dough.

For both, I use my raclette grill at the table to heat them.

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Ham and bean soup.

Threw it all in the slow cooker this morning... and it's smelled so good all day, I can't wait til it's done.

(I have to hurry up and get all my favorite hearty Winter dishes in before the warm weather is really here and it's grilling season again. )

Fish and chips. The fish fell to bits, and it wasn't battered, but damn it was nice.

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Yesterday: spinach, goat cheese and red onion marmelade pastry parcels with thyme-roasted sweet potatoes, carrots, peppers, red onion and cherry tomatoes.

Tonight: chickpeas and onions cooked with tomatoes, spinach, fennel and black onion seeds and tamarind, with rice and yoghurt.
