Re: Tonight's dinner?

Samosa chaat.

Punjabi samosa with crispy chickpea noodles, fresh tomato and onion with a trio of sauces (tamarind, coriander&chili and mint yogurt) - and of course chaat masala !

Tortellini soup (spinach and ricotta tortellini simmered in some vegetable broth with a bit o' frozen spinach thrown in).

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Last night was a nice homemade feast - beef fillet with a red wine and mushroom sauce, dauphinoise potatoes, and green beans. Followed by Swiss lemon cake.

That will be Monday's, more or less.

Tonight's will be left-over minestrone with tripe.

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Last night - mussels with shallot, garlic, leeks, carrot and fennel, some fish stock and white wine. Made way too many though. Today, leftover mussels in the cooking liquid for lunch. Awesome both ways.

Re: Tonight's dinner?

If the Forum continues as it is at the moment it'll be Spam for me. As fast as I kill them, up comes another one - usa china usa - anyone want a new kitchen?
And in a moment I'm knocking off for coffee and birthday cake so I only hope someone else is around, if invisible, to hit them all on the head.

I think Longbyt is referring to the overtime the spam deputies and mods are putting in trying to keep the spam under control.
