Re: Tonight's dinner?

I know I'll have to pencil in some more gym...but we made this

Broad beans pasta recipe is from What shall we cook today (kid's cook book, fab). I do that with little neighbors' kids being over since kids love to peel the beans and compete who will harvest more.

Banana split is great swimming in home made chocolate soup (Cailler cooking chocolate noir, vanilla, a bit of salted butter, full fat cream, tiny bit of rum fake flavor n cinnamon, heat up till it melts), then unsweetened whipped cream and Dr. Oetker choc and caramel sauces.

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Grilled a whole salmon stuffed with lemons and herbs - fennel, thyme, tarragon, parsley, cilantro , with a simple crunchy salad - cucumber, fennel, tomatoes. Leftover salmon for at least 2 more days too!

Had that at Zurich airport this noon (bought at BK, but eaten on the aircraft) on my way to Sweden.

Bah, lucky you! Well, at least I found my pizza and various extra toppings to create the Pizza that Oiled and Burn-Spiced the Oven - going to have to scrub it tomorrow

...the oven, not the pizza...

Re: Tonight's dinner?

Spring vegetable and lemon tagliatelle, with asparagus tips, courgettes, spring onions, goats cheese, lemon rind and juice, basil, garlic breadcrumbs, and egg tagliatelle.
We are trying out new recipes for next weekend, when my big sister and her hubby visit.

So, we had this over the wknd. Kids caught the trout themselves. It was cooked on fire, stuffed with peppers and fresh herbs.

Cherry pie, made with the 1.1kg of sour cherries we picked by the side of the road near Castello di Tabiano, PR, this morning.
