Don't be so lazy Mike. Do a search for 'KFC' and you'll be surprised, disappointed and amazed.
BTW, 'Kanton' Fried Chicken is the Swiss term.

If there's anything else you miss try the search function as well.

When did they start putting heroin in KFC? I can't think of any other reason why people are so obsessed by it.

Because it tastes good and it's cheap... and it means we don't have to fry chicken ourselves and put up with the smell of fat all over the house.

As long as you can be sure it's chicken that you're eating.

KFC came off my personal menu, many years ago, after I saw a consumer affairs type program, back in the UK, where a cleaning cloth, which was left on a table in one restaurant, was whisked away for analysis, and was found to have more harmful germs, then is found in an average toilet - including a couple of major food-poisoning ones.

This was just one restaurant, though, and obviously wouldn't have been true of all KFC's because of how it is/was run as a franchise model - but it was enough for me.

so don't put your food on the table then pretty sure deep frying kills every germ known to man, or, just eat the food in the toilet, job done

You sure it wasn't just one of the dirty heroine chicken addicts leaving their bib (a.k.a the cleaning cloth) after wiping their mouths and hands. While we have pretty clean members of the KFC addiction club...some of them can be a little grubby

Nah .... just rinse the cloths out in the toilet bowl - it'll be safer.

I'd bet the same cloths were used to wipe the trays too - and how many of us eat the food that's fallen onto the tray? (do you think that piece of paper they put on makes a difference?)

Nope .... I'll stick with Dodgy Ali's Kebab Emporium, and his recycled, reconstituted and reheated "meat".

This was many years back, and just concerned one badly run franchise - but was definitely the same cloth observed as being used to wipe the tables.

They probably would've been better off using a junkies snot rag, though.

Re: Is there KFC here?

Aren't all kfc's franchises?

We went to a gig at the mean fiddler in london many years ago, there was a kfc just outside so after the gig we popped along for our fix, it had more security then a bank, they buzzed you in, the staff where behind a glass wall and you had to put the money one of those one way trays banks have, and then they gave you the food, all of a sudden we didn't feel too safe lol

Re: Is there KFC here?

I would prefer KFC for a quick snack at max. After reading the chicken used is not exactly normal chicken it puts my taste buds off

Mike, I hope you give a good review of the restaurant once you finish eating

You know how it is when dinner time comes around and whatever you've got for dinner just doesn't seem to hit the spot? Whether you've already cooked and eaten it or if it's something you're looking at and thinking "ugh, this?", I'm sure we've all been in that position thinking "Gee, wouldn't FoodX be fabulous right now?"

So, thinking with our memory-taste-buds, we ask around. I ask my hubby, then I ask here and when I was new, I was even more likely to simply ask as I had no clue how far what was.

Better to ask about such things here I think as you get not only the direct answer to the question but possibly also instructions on the easiest way to get there. (Even google map + directions isn't much help, just one example, the directions I got to my doctor's office take me on a nonsense route as there is a bus practically from my doorstep to his)

The KFC locations in France serve Halal chicken, I am not entirely positive what that means but I know enough to have gathered that it is pretty much impossible for it to be far from "normal" and Halal at the same time.

I'm thinking to go on the next KFC run (if I can get a ride) as I am hoping it will be the best tasting chicken ever. Of course, the problem with that is that then, what will I do if / when I go back to the US and have regular ol (abnormal) chicken there.

Who cares about the content? With a litre of Coke, you've satisfied all four major foodgroups:

Fat, Sugar, Salt and BCB*s.

*Burnt crunchy bits.
