Zurich city: Bulgarian strudelhaus Poushe has several outlets, stalls and cafes across town. Very good. They all speak English.

| | | Romanian food store in Geneva
From now on it is possible to find Romanian delights, such as: brânză de burduf, caşcaval, telemea, salam de vara, kaiser, costiţă afumată; Romanian wines: Murfatlar, Muscat Otonel, Rai de Murfatlar, Sec de Mur, Cotnari Iaşi, Grasă de Cotnari, Busuioacă de Bohotin, Lacrima lui Ovidiu. You can buy these and many other Romanian, Polish and Russian products in the heart of the Old Carouge at the shop "La Perla", Rue St-Victor 4, 1227 Carouge.

Try some Hungarian grocery store, they might have it.
Ah, and sometimes they might have the Slovak brynzda, close to our "branza de burduf". (with a less vigorous taste)

If you buy the Slovak Bryndza from a proper farmer then it should have the bite (or get some Slovaks to bring you some). The stuff they sell in the stores is generally mixed with cow cheese to save on costs. We just brought back a couple of kilo's from Slovakia, bought from the loval farmer, and it makes the hairs on your arm stand when you eat it - not to mention the people whom you speak to the next half day.

I rather liked the country |

If you and your friends are ever looking for a Czech restaurant in Bern, and if someone is not willing to go unless they can have something Australian, this is the place for you.
I think I will try it out tomorrow as I will be in Bern. Now: Czech or Australian? Where are the owners from?
