Hi all,

I'm looking to make a curry but have noticed that Coop and Migros don't stock many spices (at least that I've noticed so far - correct me if I'm wrong ).

Does anyone know of an Indian supermarket or another shop in Zurich where I can buy Indian ingredients such as Garam Masala, Cumin, Cloves, Coconut milk and ginger?

Ethnic Grocery Stores

At the Viaduck Markethall, there is a spice lady (just behind the pie lady) and English Cheese Center. She has got over 200 herbs including ready made up curry powder but if you want to make your own, she has got everything you need spice wise for a curry and more. She also got some really nice herb plants as well, so might be good for the window sill.. nothing beat a nice mint tea on a very hot day with just picked mint (of course you can have mojito as well)
