Re: Where can I find Dulce de leche?

Hello, not sure if you're still interested, i noticed you live in ZHR therefore had to write... there is a very tasty dulce de leche "home made" sold at a little latin restaurant in Zürich:
Colombia Linda
AEMTLERSTRASSE 18
8003 ZUERICH

It is made by the restaurant owner, so it's really fresh and delicious!!

They say it's dangerous but I've done it several times. Not here in Argentina though as it's the capital of dulce de leche! lol I learned from my brother who used to make it when he worked in a restaurant.
What?...Chile is the real and only capital of Dulce de Leche....!! .

I've seen dulce de leche in the Coop near the jams, preserves, lemon curd, etc. It has a "fine food" label. Maybe in a bigger coop.
I have not seen sweetened condensed milk in a can, only in a tube...near the UHT milk products, and whipped cream, not refrigerated.
They have it in Migros too but have no idea whether is the "real" thing or not, quality wise.
