How many have turbo-jet helicopters (or V/STOLs)?

I don't know where the OP is located but Golosone in Zurich and Argentino's in Lugano do the best pizzas I've experienced in "Swiss"
I'll definitely look up Golosone. Wish I were closer to Italy but even there, great pizza can be hard to find!

Of course I could cook my own but an authentic Napoli pizza with the right oven, flour, tomatoes, and cheese could be prohibitively expensive and it just won't taste right

Re: Authentic Pizza Napoletana

If you are ever in the States, there is a fantastic authentic Neopolitan pizzeria in Madison, WI. It's called Pizza Bruta. So. Good. I know obviously not relevant to the original post, but I figured why not include this one.

Re: Authentic Pizza Napoletana

I will second Golosone as the best thin crust pizza in Zurich. it's great. It's just behind the Jelmoli downtown. Good luck!

Worked for us this evening! (OK, the Porcini on the quattro stagioni weren't cheap, but at least they were left over from last night's risotto)

My favorite pizza in Zurich is Don Leone... even if they have an electric oven. For a super thin pizza (not really Napoli style) there is Rosso, but be ready to wait forever...

Re: Authentic Pizza Napoletana

I've been to Rosso a couple of times. Pittis is right, the dough is really too thin. It comes out so thin that it's like a thin white flour cracker rather than a Neapolitan pizza. Not enjoyable. In addition, it has no flavour whatsoever (no salt/yeast) and the tomato sauce is too bland.

I would not recommend this place at all. (Service sucks too).

I'd recommend Il Golosone.
