Anyone know where I can buy pork belly with the skin on in Zurich?
So far I've tried a couple of Coops and Migros, and Kauffman at the HB, but the closest i've got is schweinsbrust without the skin at the coop in stadelhofen...
Thanks for that Argus, very kind of you to ask your friend for me :-). I'm gonna try the butcher gnartyuh recommended, and if i've no luck there then i guess i'll be on the train to Glattbrugg :-)

Paid a visit to Metzgerei Angst during the week and got the pork belly i was after, along with some back fat for making sausages, and a rehrücken just for fun.
It really is a great butchers, and prices are very low for Zürich - similar to a couple of the cash & carrys i've been to around the city. So, thanks again for the tip :-)

i get my bellypork at the 3M fantastic for roasting
You need to ask for "Schweinsbauch mit Schwarte" = "Pork belly with rind"
Just went to Carmelo's today for some pork for Christmas dinner. Turns out that they also refer to pork belly as "Schweisnbrüstli mit Schwarte". Technically this translates as breast of pork but it's the same cut. Hope that helps anyone in the future!
