Where to buy a cheese fondue set?

Hi

I'd like to buy a cheese fondue set, with plates.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Re: Where to buy a cheese fondue set?

What do you mean by "plates"? Are there special plates for eating fondue?!! I'm a plebian, I use normal plates.

Otherwise, I've seen a cheese fondue set in Coop in special offer for 30CHF I think it was.

A shop is usually a good starting point.

Not seen 'complete' fondue sets like that, although we do have a raclette/pierrade set that came with plates, scrapers, etc., even a bag to keep the tatties hot. Quite cheap, too, from Migros or one of the other major shops. But a special seasonal offer, rather than something they'd have all the time.

So I'd just trawl through as many shops as you can find, starting at Manor, perhaps, and particularly at this time of year, and look for the specials.

Re: Where to buy a cheese fondue set?

I've seen all the fondue dishes and cheeses at the larger Coops and Migroses.

As you are living in the UK I would think Tesco would be a good starting place.
