Ikea has perfect sized little gingerbread making house kits in the food section (you know, where you can buy frozen ikea meatballs?) for 3.50 CHF. They are cuter, less expensive, and taste better than the Witch houses you can buy at Coop. I've been looking for something like this every year, so I thought I'd share my find!

You can't see the actual pieces in the packaging so I will list the measurements so you can get an idea of how big they are.

Roof: 19x10cm
2 walls: 16x7 cm
2 walls: (with point) 12x14 cm (at top of point)
little pieces for chimney

They don't come with frosting or candy, so you'll have to make/buy that separately.

Just got back from IKEA in Basel as I bought one of those kits about a month ago. I wanted to buy more, but the gal behind the food counter said they sold out.
I saw the one Lackerli is selling at 40CHF with a witch. I will keep looking for more options.

That's too bad, the one in Spreitenbach has tons of them when I was there Monday.
