In many houses where the wine is flowing and the guests are happy, bread falling off the fork into the pot of fondue is greeted with cheers and a very naughty kiss with the person next to you.

That's where real saliva is exchanged.
Lovely Oly, there seems to be far more to you than a 4 leaf clover !

This thread has put me off cheese fondue forever though.
I'll stick to fondue bourguignonne..
and keep my kisses

Don't get me wrong i love Swiss cheese but what I don't relish is dipping my saliva covered fork into a bacterial nightmare...

Our christmas DO was cheese fondue and we had a great conversation about Bacteria. Basically if you are having fondue with your partner its friendly bacteria. If you have fondue with anybody else its unfriendly bacteria. Sort of changes the whole concept of bacteria.

OP - to answer your previous topic: tell-me-i-m-being-paranoid

Yes

And you need to change the avatar, the "i'm lookin' at you" shot doesn't really go with the "i'm scared of a bit of spit" text

Re: To fondue or fondon't

Just got back from my fondue night.

I am feeling guilty for stuffing my face with cheese and missing my friday night gym workout.

I thought i would get out of there before round two of the cheese fondue starts at 2am..........i was temped to stay as it was very tasty.

cheers
SC
