Butcher and/or Hofladen in Winterthur

We're moving to Winterthur in just about 2 weeks, and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend....

a good butcher

and

a hofladen where I can buy fresh eggs at a minimum and possibly some seasonal vegetables.

We'll be in the Toss area, but it really doesn't matter.... any recommendations are welcome!

Thanks!
e.

Re: Butcher and/or Hofladen in Winterthur

I'm also close to the Tösstal.
There's loads around here. Almost every farmer has a Hofladen

There's the Binzenloo bio farmer with meat and veges at bus stop Binzenloo on Eidbergstrasse.
There's Nussbaumer with veges and dairy produce, including fresh milk from his cows at 1.- per litre (byo bottle). Cnr Weierstr and Weierholzstr in Weierhöhe.

Both places are pretty much open 24hrs, so if you want fresh milk and eggs for breakfast at 5am Sunday morning, not a problem!

And drive around the back roads and you'll see loads for signs for eggs, apples, nuts, firewood, etc
