"Good news - you CAN install an RO unit when you are renting, for example THIS model" might have sounded a little more welcoming than "Rubbish" to be fair.

"Gobshite" would have been worse though

true, but if people cant spend 5 mins on google then im short and sweet

Re: Water water water

Well everyone has their own opinion on what is the "best" water.

When I lived in the states the only water I liked was Aquafina. Here I would say its Volvic that tastes the best.

But for the absolute BEST water in the world you need to go to Iceland

Nothing like a big glas of fresh water filtered through an old lava field

Re: Water water water

Not sure if you've googled it or not, but too much distiller water isn't good for you

ok. So if you want pure H-O-H and nothing else , 2 options:-
1. make your own distilled water. Condense steam from kettle on a cool surface. It is not difficult to make your own still.
2. go to local garage and buy distilled or even demineralised water (used in batteries.

No dissolved salts , metals or organic matter or gases. Pure H-O-H molecules.
It tastes foul I know coz I tried it once.

Re: Water water water

Well Tom...

In short, I don't eat meat, and I dont vary all that much with taste... You may have noticed, at least once in your life, when you eat mostly greens, and really, uncooked, your tastes become very sensitive, and slight changes become quite obvious.

Try this test...

For one week, just one week, eat garden salads, and only cold pressed olive oil if you need it, and fresh squeezed lemons for favoring. Then, eat a banana. Wait a bit, and then eat an organic (sorry, bio) banana. I'm willing to bet, almost anything, if they are of the same ripeness, you will notice a difference in taste, to the point where you can test four or five and differentiate every time

What I don't understand is how someone with, how shall I put it? Such a 'delicate' palate manages to eat anything.

Surely everything tastes slightly differently from when they ate it the last time (unless they eat exclusively at McDonalds).

Re: Water water water

Sorry, I didn't realize but it's appearant I should have clarified.

My sink doesn't have a spot for a spot, and really, I've already gotten a lot from the owner so I don't wish to ask for any adjustments to accommodate my neediness

No, YOU'RE a jerk

(sh*t.....guess I just proved you right )

Not sure that there were many "attacks" here, but the beauty & frustration of a forum like this is that when somebody asks "How can I do x?", many people will say "Don't know, but did you think about trying y?". 90% of the time it can be frustrating as you wish they would just answer the damn question, but every now and again, the "y" is a better solution that you didn't even think of.
