Swiss Style Muesli now available in the British section at coop?

I can't find it at co-op @ home but I picked some up at Wollishofen the other day.

I'm not an expert but it seems to me nothing like the Swiss Muesli available a couple of aisles away.

I'm looking forward to visiting Tesco and finding some "British style tea" in the Swiss food section.

I'd never seen it in the British section. It seems a strange place to look in Switzerland if you were looking for a Swiss style Muesli.

Having said that, it's quite good and it is in @home although I couldn't find it under the British section or by searching for muesli or Swiss. Alpen was the key word.

Alpen is horrible powdery stuff.

I look forward to being able to buy muesli here in the style of the 'Dorset Cereals' range of muesli which you can get in any UK supermarket.
Yum yum

I hate all the crunchy muesli you get here too

The big ones, yes. Don't get your hopes up, it usually involved digestives, hobnobs (the plain ones) and a couple of other odds and sodds.

That explains it then, here in the sticks I've never seen such a thing. But, judging by what you say, it hardly seems worth it...

You can buy some of the Dorset Cereals muesli range in the supermarket in St Louis up here in the north west - bit pricey though (obviously)

Re: Swiss Style Muesli now available in the British section at coop?

Swiss muesli has been around since Dr. Bircher Benner invented it.

You need for one portion of the "rich" version

1 tablespoon of oath flakes
3 tablespoons of Milk
1/2 teaspoon of honey
1 apple, 1/2 orange, 1/2 banana
1 tablespoon of mixed berries fresh or frozen
1 tablespoon of hazelnuts

Easy, quick and you know what's in it.
