Importing or mailing dry food - question

Hello... I searched for a similar thread but could not find. I am sure it's been discussed here at length at some point however...

Regardless... does anyone know the rules regarding shipping food from another country to Switzerland? Basically my son loves a particular biscuit/baby cereal and I'd like to try shipping it from Ireland to here. It's dry food.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I've received packaged food (snacks) via mail without problems.

Thanks Tom and Mojado. dunno how to "thank" your post but thank you for the info. Didn't want to shell out for a bulk shipment and then find out that it was confiscated or destroyed or something. Appreciate it.

Ref the herbal tea poster... I really don't know but I assume as long as it is labelled and is manufactured by a valid looking producer (vs homemade "herbal" teabags..) it would be considered dry goods per my question and should be fine?
