I bought mine at the Müller Reformhaus, here is a link to Luzern: http://www.reformhaus.ch/verkaufsste...llen.php?id=10

I prefer using Agave syrup though, didn't like the taste of stevia.
gitana, did you find the agave syrup here in ch? i've been looking for some to bake with, but i can't figure out where to find it.

Re: Stevia?

I bought it at Karstadt in Singen. I also saw it at Muller in Singen.

Re: Stevia?

For those who find it has an aftertaste, consider trying liquid stevia if you've only tried the powder. I've seen it at many supermarkets and drugstores here. Seems to be easier to find here than anywhere else, in fact.

I used to use it before I got pregnant, but then gave it up during pregnancy and stuck with plain old sugar. Still not using it now.

Not surprising. According to wikipedia, agave syrup is 92% fructose and 8% glucose, so it has the same composition as that evil High Fructose Corn Syrup. Presumably with exactly the same effects on health.

Meh, wife and I just this minute made an almond chocolate cake with Stevia instead of sugar and flour. Has a tiny fraction of carbs now and tastes great, especially with mascarpone, cream, strawberries and a cup of coffee.

Diabetics, those on low carb diets etc would understand the mahoosive benefits were talking here

I reckon it would sell like hot cakes... might have to ask the wife to go industrial.
This post makes a good point about high intensity sweeteners. If you take out the sugar, what do you use instead? An almond chocolate cake without sugar and flour contains ... almond and chocolate, so low carbs but sky high calories, which is good for diabetics and gourmets, but not what most consumers are looking for in low-sugar foods.
