Horchata, anyone??

I'm thinking somewhere like Globus may be my best bet, but does anyone know where one can purchase some delicious horchata? I'm trying to stay ahead of the cravings as the weather heats up...
Cheers!

Re: Horchata, anyone??

Si, claro. Tu puedes comprar en la tienda EL MAIZ!

http://www.elmaiz.ch/

This is a Mexican Food Store, which has a version of Horchata. It comes in a bottle, and you must dilute it.

or Make it yourself! My taste buds are tingling!

Re: Horchata, anyone??

I guess it depends on which kind you are looking for.

For Spanish, kind you can find it at the stores catering to the large Spanish population. I've gotten it in Lausanne before.

Any of the Latin American versions you could try as was said, El Maiz or one of the other Latin American stores/sources.

Thanks heaps! They both look like excellent options. And the shop seems to have lots of other interesting goodies too. Think I'm all set for summer now!

Re: Horchata, anyone??

Make it yourself is the best option. It just isn't summer without a cold glass of horchata, taking in the afternoon sun on the balcony.
