Ice Cream Cones

Anybody know where I can buy these?? I've tried local co-op and checked the co-op online store and no joy. Not seen them in the German supermarkets that we frequent.

Only thing that I did see in the online store that sounded very tasty was this

Re: Ice Cream Cones

The cones are often stored above the ice cream freezers, just look upwards.

I did ...... shelf above the low level freezer and the upright freezers were too tall to have anything on them

Re: Ice Cream Cones

I have seen cones and fancy bowls (waffle bowls with chocolate coating inside for example) at Coop, usually near the meringues and other fancy dessert things.

Re: Ice Cream Cones

I'll have to see if I can find a bigger coop by the sound of it, otherwise I'll just have to buy a waffle cone maker

Re: Ice Cream Cones

You can buy Cones at the larger Migros, MMM, biscuit section. I bought a pack of 9 for Sfr3, and a bit. Globus stocks as well, 6 for Sfr7.

Re: Ice Cream Cones

I was just at my "corner" Coop, it's one of the medium sized ones... They have some fancy stuff to stick in your ice cream (waffle cone type cookies, those roll up cookie thingies, and things like that) but no cones.

The rootbeer caught my eye though, still haven't given in to my hankering for a rootbeer float. Maybe tomorrow.

Re: Ice Cream Cones

I just saw packets of them at the SBB migros. They were labelled as "Danish Waffle cones" and were on the same shelf as crispbreads, near the bread shelves.
