Does anyone know if Kitchenaid stand mixer accessories bought in America work with their European models? I know that the ice cream maker definitely doesn't, but what about the various pasta rollers? They look the same, but the price is not.

Short answer is yes. The difference between the US and EU models being that the EU model has some weird safety collar on the beater mechanism. That's why the ice cream maker doesn't fit. Anything that attaches via the bolt on thetop of themixer should be fine. I have the pasta rollers brought from the US and an EU model.

The bowls are identical. For the Eu version, a slightlr different beater attachment is required because the beater shaft has an extra piece. I have both US and EU versions and the beaters are slightly different.

There is now a beater which fits both by sliding on in two different directions. Might be the same for the other attachments?

Bet that's it. I got my attachment more than 4 years ago.


And, if it's something that hooks into the bolt on top, there is no need for different attachments. I think most attachments connect there to access the motor.
