Good riddance. I always get a sour taste in my mouth from the horrible Indian mangoes while waiting for a real Pakistani mango.
Taking this at face value (unlike the groaners) in what way are mangoes from Pakistan superior to those from India?

They don't figure much on my shopping list and I can honestly say I have no idea where the last ones I bought came from. But I always imagine the Caribbean somehow.

I used to go to school with him.
Didn't he have a hit record in the early '70s?

They just have a better taste. My personal favourite is the chaunsa. You will get them in a few months in the ethnic stores. About 8-10 chf for box.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaunsa

They only really stock the Alphonso at the start as a stop gap for impatient people like me. Hopefully there are no evil fruit flies on the Pakistani mangos!

Mangoes. Coriander. Only EF could turn edible plant life into a slagging match.

Those are the Mexican and Brazilian mangoes, and probably more than one other SA country, best eaten in a bathtub or on a beach dripping into the sand. Anyone want to have a stab at the PC quotient of those fruits on the world mango scale?

Which country do you come from and i will be happy to google out all the stats for you before you go out naming any country as awful... What is your exact knowledge about the two countries you have called as awful.

This thread is about mangoes and keep it to that.
I come from the UK where rape is illegal. I find it to be awesome.

No, in India it's only technically illegal, not practically illegal. And I'm trying to explain why I would never eat an Indian mango. I'm voting with my feet and choosing products (as much as possible) sourced from countries with OK human rights records.

I tried doing that and almost starved to death with no clothes on my back. You will be fine though with your "as much as possible" and "ok" joker card

Indian mango or Pakistani mango? One is apparently banned by EU on "elf n safety" grounds but the Pakistani one has depleted uranium contamination due to them drone attacks plus human rights of them mangoes is very dodgy too, init? So I think I prefer freedom mangoes from Peru with good human rights

Jokes aside I am not a mangocist (made that up along with DU contamination bit). Put a mango from any country in front of me and it will be gone in 2 seconds.
