Ciabatta bread from a bakery [Zurich]

I am looking for a bakery in Zurich providing better quality ciabatta breads. Thanks very much for your inputs.

Re: Ciabatta bread from a bakery [Zurich]

the thing about ciabatte is that they're mostly water and get inedible (gummy) after a few hours not unlike cheap baguettes, maybe the bakery keeps them for too long. or the taste is not good?

Where are you buying them at the moment?

The sandwich place on Konradstrasse (he on a missing 1/2 finger) might sell you a couple.

There is an Italian deli on Bertastrasse - only ever bought Pasta from them so can't confirm whether they have Ciabattas - so can't confirm whether they are good.

Try Backbar on Seefeldstrasse, I think it's the best bakery in Zurich

Wrap it in a wet baking sheet, then bake for about 20 minutes, or until baking sheet is dry. It moistens the inside, and the outside gets crunchy. This can redeem a mediocre loaf of Ciabatta.

I went to the Konradstrasse earlier today but didn't find any bakery on the street. Would you please give me more detailed info if convenient? Thank you!
