(Raw) Food Appliances

I've tried searching Google for swiss suppliers of appliances usually used for people who incorporate raw food into their diet (vegetarians, vegans or those who or are completely raw), but can't find anything. In particular, I'm looking for sellers of the following:

Excalibur - Dehydrator
Vita Mix - Blender

I was going to ask about green powders and such, but I found another thread that listed quite a few suppliers that seem to cover most of what I was looking for, so it's down to the actual appliances. Even in the US these were hard-ish to find (and the blender is extremely expensive), but shipping is always an option there whereas here it's quite hard to get anything electrical across the border... and shipping from the US is not an option as the electricity conversion would be a mess.

Anyone have any pointers to where I might find the above?

Thanks in advance!

Do they have to be the same brand? Landi has dehydrators and I image you can find them in Media Markt or Darty. Also, I'm sure they will have similar (but not the same) blenders/juicers.

Re: (Raw) Food Appliances

Have you looked for the vitamix distributor for continental europe? Lots of these folks are in Belgium....it ought to be at their web site, if they have one.

Also

http://www.novissa.ch

is the kitchenaid distributor for Switzerland - they have other product lines as well, perhaps they have a substitute. I know the vitamix is very powerful compared to most household blenders, but I don't know anything about it specifically.

Re: (Raw) Food Appliances

I am also doing the Raw diet for a while, and since Vitamix was so expensive I just bought a regular Braun MX2000 blender from Interdiscount (525 watts) .
I am sure its nowhere close to as good as Vitamix is, but its going quite well till now, also good at crusing ice , the green smoothies are coming out just fine. At 70 chf I am not complaining
